We bake one product. To produce a consistently high quality Lincolnshire Plum Bread and give excellent service to all our customers is the aim of this company. Baking Plum Loaves takes time as we use a traditional recipe and a traditional method. We only use high quality ingredients and add nothing to speed things up or make the product last longer. The dough is given a gentle mix and a ninety minute bulk ferment to induce a unique traditional flavour. All the loaves are hand moulded and proved for two hours before being ready for the oven. We bake our loaves in individual tins. After baking they are cooled overnight and wrapped the next day before being delivered to our customers. On this page you will see pictures of the process used in our bakery and the ingredients used. Please contact us if you would like to comment on or discuss with us anything you view on this page.

We will very shortly be able to post Modens Lincolnshire Plum Bread to stockists or customers throught Mainland UK. To make this service viable  Plum Bread must be ordered in quantities of 24. We will send individual Plum Breads throughout the UK, though postage will be charged to the customer, please contact us to discuss any requirements you may have.

Slice the Plum Bread, not to thinly, spread the slice lightly with farm butter, mmm, thats good!
Why not try it toasted with butter and jam or my favourite, lemon curd.
Modens Plum Bread is possibly at its best eaten with your favourite cheese and maybe some pickle,
Why not go the whole way and have a ploughmans!!!!
